Winter League Week 13 – It’s getting tight!

Following the weekend’s results, the top three are only separated by shot difference.

For the first time this Winter, the teams were greeted by a frost-covered rink.  This resulted in a delayed start whilst the teams waited in the warmth of the clubhouse for the rink to clear.

At the conclusion of play, Chalfont Wickers found themselves back at the top again after a 17-7 victory over the depleted Chessmen.  The Misfits are back in second place following their 17-5 win against Red Kites.  Meanwhile, Diehards suffered their first defeat since Week 2 and drop to third place.  They lost 9-10 to the Hatters who clinched victory on the final end.

There is now a gap of six points to the fourth-placed team – Iver Heath who retain that position despite a 10-14 reverse against Blue Dragons.
