Two good away results in the Three Counties League this week.
On Thursday, we travelled to Flackwell Heath and achieved an emphatic victory with wins on all three rinks. The overall score was 73-41 which was almost a repeat of the score in the home match earlier in the Season. This result earned us the full 8 points with the top rink being Pauline Loakes, Dave Holt, Sheila Clarke and Alan Sherrock.
On Saturday, we had a very close-fought match at High Wycombe. Although we won on 2 rinks, the individual rink scores were very close and the final result was 45-45. The points achieved were 5 to Chess Vale and 3 to High Wycombe. Top rink for Chess Vale was Pauline Loakes, Margaret Baker, Ron Nettleton and Barry Redding.
The points secured in these two games has now moved Chess Vale into third place
