Despite the score-line suggesting something different, this was a closely-fought match with our local rivals from Amersham. Four of the rinks were shared equally between the two teams but a heavy defeat for Chess Vale in the remaining rink gave the match a rather distorted score with Amersham running out winners by 96-69.
Highest winning rink for the home side was Margaret Baker, Jean Nettleton and Alan Sherrock.
