It was something of a nail-biter but despite a huge defeat at Mill End in the Watford Vets league, we managed to retain out place in Division 1. Potten End and Herts Blue remain in the bottom two places and neither of them can overhaul our points total.
In the TCL, we suffered a defeat away to Harefield by 34-57 but we had a winning rink and the two points gained from that game ensured that we shall remain in fourth place whatever the result of our final game at Amersham. Winning rink at Harefield was Dee Sherrock, Freda Holt, Ron Nettleton and Chris Wellsted.
