Last Sunday, we played our first Away fixture on grass since the latter part of the 2023 Season. On this occasion, we visited Chesham and were on the wrong end of a 51-131 scoreline losing on all five rinks.
Today, we opened our Watford Vets League campaign against Herts Blue. This was a very tight match which went down to the final end before the points were secured by Chess Vale with a 33-30 victory. One rink was won by each team with the winning rink for Chess Vale being Barry Redding, Chris Wellsted and Alan Sherrock.
