On a day which was rather typical of the Season, the top three teams at the start of play all lost! Chalfont Wickers went down by 8-13 against Allsorts whilst Blue Dragons were unable to overcome Chesham Hopefuls, finally losing by 6-16. Third-placed Golden Oldies also lost with an 8-18 reverse against Hatters. Diehards took advantage of the other results to finish in third place after a 15-10 victory over bottom-placed Misfits.
The result of all this meant that Wickers finished with 39 points, Blue Dragons had 38 points and Diehards were on 37 points. The closeness of the competition was highlighted by the fact that there was only 4 points covering the top SEVEN teams.
