We opened our C & TML programme with our traditional “opener” against Wendover. As usual, we supplemented our league fixture with a couple of friendly rinks as well.
In the League match, Chess Vale were winners by two rinks to one and an overall score of 50-37. Surprisingly there was no top rink as all four winning rinks (across the two matches) ended with a plus nine shot difference! The friendly match also resulted in a win for the home side by 41-23.
