Last Saturday, we entertained Chalfont St Giles in a Three Counties League game. The sun shone at last after a miserable week and we were able to maintain our unbeaten home record with a victory by 129-69 and also by winning on all five rinks. Top rink for Chess Vale was Peter Spring, Jean Nettleton and Andy Loakes.
This Saturday, we travel to Wendover for our return match in the Chiltern & Thames Mixed League. In addition, we hope to have three rinks for the usual friendly matches that run along side the League fixture.
