Quite a lot of water has passed under the bridge since the last post.  However, you will find some updates on recent matches on the Club’s Facebook page.

There have been mixed fortunes in the past week or so with losses to Gerrards Cross (Ray Keen League) and Bassetsbury (Three Counties League sandwiching a narrow friendly victory over Broadway by 61-57.

On Monday, Loudwater came for the return match in the Chiltern & Thames League.  They were only able to supply two rinks.  Although Loudwater had the better aggregate score, we picked up two points for the rink that was not played plus four points for the match meaning a final points score of 8-2 to Chess Vale.

Yesterday, the Men’s Vets team returned to winning ways with a 41-33 success against Croxley Red.  This was an extremely tight match with the aggregate scores being level with one end remaining on each rink.  However, Chess Vale managed a win on both final ends for a final winning margin of eight shots.
